B2B Matchmaking Flow
How Matchmaking Work?
IBMI Taiwan provides a professional B2B matchmaking platform to connect international buyers with Taiwanese sellers through in-person meetings. The following outlines the step-by-step process to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all participants.
For Sellers (Taiwan Suppliers)
Step 1.
Submit a Matchmaking Request
- Browse the buyer list and submit a meeting request.
- A credit card preauthorization of TWD 3000 per request is required. This step only reserves the amount — no charge is made at this stage.
Step 2.
Preauthorization Policy
If the buyer declines or does not respond within 7 calendar days, the preauthorization will be automatically canceled, and no charges will apply.
Step 3.
Buyer Selects Available Timeslot
- If the buyers accept the meeting request, they will choose a preferred meeting time.
- The platform will notify the seller once the timeslot is confirmed.
⚠️ Note: Time selection works on a first-come, first-served basis — similar to booking event tickets.
Step 4.
Confirmation and Payment
Once the buyer confirms a time slot, the system will finalize the meeting and charge TWD 3000 to the seller’s credit card.
Step 5.
Receive Meeting Details
- If the meeting is in person, the system will email the meeting venue, scheduled time, and a QR code for on-site check-in.
- If the meeting is conducted virtually, the system will email the meeting link and scheduled time.
Step 6.
Attend the Meeting On Time
- If the meeting is conducted in person, please arrive punctually at your scheduled meeting time and present your QR code and Expo Pass at the venue.
- If the meeting is conducted virtually, please join the meeting punctually at your scheduled time.
Step 7.
Complete the Post-Meeting Survey
After the meeting, kindly fill out the feedback questionnaire to help us maintain high-quality matchmaking experiences.
Step 8.
Buyer No-Show
If the buyer does not attend the meeting, sellers may contact EVERRISE for a manual refund review.
Step 9.
Post-Meeting Follow-Up
EVERRISE may consult sellers to gather feedback or explore further business matching opportunities.
For Buyers (International Participants)
Step 1.
Receive Matchmaking Requests
Buyers may receive in-person meeting requests from suppliers.
Step 2.
Respond Within 7 Calendar Days
Accept or decline the request within seven days. The request will be automatically canceled if no response is provided within seven calendar days.
Step 3.
Select Available Timeslot
After accepting a request, select a suitable meeting.
Step 4.
Receive Meeting Details
Once confirmed, the platform will email both parties the scheduled time and, depending on the meeting format, either the venue and a QR code for on‑site check‑in (for in‑person meetings) or the meeting link (for virtual meetings).
Step 5.
Attend the Meeting On Time
To ensure the success of the matchmaking session, please join on time for virtual meetings or attend the meeting punctually and present your QR code and Expo Pass at the venue for in-person meetings.
Step 6.
Complete the Post-Meeting Survey
After the meeting, kindly fill out the feedback questionnaire to help us maintain high-quality matchmaking experiences.
Step 7.
Post-Meeting Follow-Up
EVERRISE may contact buyers to gather feedback or discuss further business matching opportunities.
Important Notes
- Charges apply only after the buyer confirms a timeslot.
- If the buyer does not respond within seven calendar days, the request will be automatically closed and no fees will be charged.
